The Gwyneth Lewin TekTote – Uncorked is a limited-edition leather tote for the woman who leads, in a print that raises a glass to the long lunch where the real deals get done. Hand-stitched in South Africa from full-grain A-grade cowhide, only 10 bags are made from this print — a considered investment, not an impulse buy.
Lined in luxurious red suede, it houses a padded laptop compartment and dedicated leather sections for your charger, mouse, pens and cards, so you arrive at every meeting organised and put together.
Each TekTote is made to order by hand, so please allow approximately 3-4 weeks from order confirmation to dispatch.

MADE TO ORDER
Every Gwyneth Lewin TekTote is hand-made to order. Please allow approximately 3-4 weeks from the date your order is confirmed for your bag to be crafted, before it is dispatched to you.
WHEN WILL I GET MY ORDER?
Once your bag has been made and dispatched, delivery takes a further 5-7 days, and you will receive a shipping confirmation email with delivery details. All orders are processed Monday through Friday, excluding holidays. Deliveries are made Monday to Friday from 9am - 4:30pm. An adult signature will be required upon delivery. Gwyneth Lewin cannot be held responsible for any unanticipated delivery delays beyond Gwyneth Lewin’s control.

We offer free shipping within South Africa, plus R1500 for international shipping for all Gwyneth Lewin customers.
MADE TO ORDER
Each TekTote is crafted individually for you, so we are unable to accept returns simply for change of mind once your bag has been made. You may cancel free of charge before production begins, and in any event within 48 hours of ordering.
YOUR 7-DAY COOLING-OFF RIGHT
Because you are buying online, you may cancel within 7 days of receiving your bag for any reason, provided it is unused and in its original condition. You cover the cost of returning it to us, and we refund the full purchase price.
IF SOMETHING IS WRONG
Your bag is covered for 6 months from delivery against defects and faulty workmanship. If a fault appears, the choice is yours: we will repair it, replace it, or refund you. We cover shipping both ways, and aim to complete repairs within 7 working days.
REFUNDS
Refunds are paid to your original payment method. Please allow 3 business days for the funds to reflect.
EVERYDAY CARE
Your TekTote is made from full-grain A-grade cowhide, and the printed panels are the same leather. Wipe it down with a soft, dry cloth every so often. Good hide needs far less cleaning than most people give it, and over-cleaning does more harm than dust ever will.
CLEANING
Use only products made specifically for leather care.
Never use ammonia-based cleaners, highly abrasive cleaners, or anything solvent- or alcohol-based. That includes household surface sprays, sanitising wipes and nail polish remover. On the printed panels these will lift, dull or blur the print, and on the plain leather they strip the natural oils and leave it dry and prone to cracking.
Always test any product on a hidden area first, such as the underside of the base, and let it dry fully before going further. On a mark, blot gently rather than scrub.
IF IT GETS WET
Blot the water off with a dry cloth, do not rub, and let the bag air-dry naturally at room temperature. Never use a hairdryer, radiator, heater or a car dashboard in the sun. Forced heat is what makes leather crack, and that damage cannot be undone.
SUN AND HEAT
Prolonged direct sunlight fades both the hide and the print. Try not to leave your bag on a car seat or a sunny windowsill for long stretches.
CONDITIONING
Every three to six months, apply a leather conditioner sparingly with a soft cloth. Less is more. Go lightly over the printed panels and test there first.
THE SUEDE LINING
The red suede interior should be kept dry. Lift dust and lint with a soft brush or a suede brush. Do not use water or liquid cleaners inside the bag, as suede marks and stiffens when it gets wet.
THE BASE STUDS
Wipe the silver studs with a dry cloth. Avoid metal polish, which can stain the surrounding leather.
STORAGE
Store your TekTote upright and lightly stuffed so it holds its shape, in a dust bag or soft cotton bag rather than plastic, which traps moisture. Do not hang it by the straps for long periods, as the handles will stretch.
A NOTE ON DARK DENIM
Indigo from new or dark denim can transfer onto lighter leather and lighter areas of print, particularly where the bag rests against your hip. It is worth being mindful of in the first few wears of new jeans.
NATURAL VARIATION
Because every bag is cut and hand-stitched from natural hide, small differences in grain, colour and markings are part of the material rather than faults. They are what make each TekTote its own.
